Additional Key Verses In John 17 and 19

Unless you have been learning the Extra verses along with your deadline, you may have have missed some district key verses.

Here are the key verses from the last term that were not on the 10-verse weekly deadlines.  Since we have a couple of extra weeks to practice, you have time to learn 5 more!  Some of these verses will be familiar from the recent Easter services anyways :D

John 17

Jesus Prays for Himself

 1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

   “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.

John 19:19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

John 19:36-3736 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,”^[a^] 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”^[
